| Intel's Workforce Reduction Secrets |
Data and information presented here are based on Intel's reported data, Intel employees reported data, estimated # of employees terminated/forced to leave (based on 5% mandated annual Ranking and Rating reduction[R&R]), and estimated # of employees left due to Intel's VSP (Voluntary Separation Package) enticement/FORCED RESIGNATION.Early this year Intel announced that it will reduce its workforce by 3,000. Since that announcement Intel officials repeatedly have emphasized that their workforce reduction plan will not get rid of more than 3,000 employees.
Our sincere thanks to all Intel employees and managers (FACEI members and non-members) who contribute to this cause, which is their own cause and make it meaningful and constructive!
In second quarter we reported that based on the information released to FACE Intel we are convinced that Intel is planning to reduce its workforce by over 10,000.
This is another typical Intel deceptive tactic, which could be effective if Intel could still keep its created isolated environment intact. Unfortunate for Intel those days are over!
